Matcha Latte Recipe

INGREDIENTS

TOOLS for your matcha base

  • Scale

  • Matcha bowl

  • A Chasen (Bamboo whisk)

  • A Chashaku (or a spoon)

  • A Sifter

  • A Kettle

DIRECTIONS

  1. Start by setting your kettle with filtered water at 70°c

  2. In the bowl, sift 2gr of matcha with your chashaku (2 “portions”) or with a regular spoon and a digital scale

  3. Add 50ml of hot water (70°C) and start whisking with your chasen by imitating a “W” shape until getting a nice and creamy foam.

  4. Froth 200ml of your choice of milk

  5. Mix your matcha base and your milk

  6. Optional: add a sweetener like honey or syrup

  7. Enjoy it !
